The Cookies Took Us Away. . . . . Troop Leader POV

Wow. . . .
Our Troop has been selling cookies from January till now, so we have missed our blogging time. We are DONE selling cookie for this year, and the ladies have some great things planned for our little blog here.

We had an amazing time selling cookies. We had ladies that did a lot of 'My Sales' and really learned what locations worked and what locations did not. We also learned days and times of days that were better for everyone. (BIG Thanks to Ms. L) who totally hooked us up with our 'My Sales' locations.

Our Troop sold 6,628 boxes of cookies this year! That's more then we have every sold and with the smallest number of girls selling this year.

As a troop leader I am amazed at all the hard work these ladies put forth to sell cookies. They set their own personal goals and more then met them.

Here are my TOP 10 tips for selling Girl Scout Cookies:

10) Make a business plan for YOUR cookies business.

9)  If your able to do My Sales, get those lined up ASAP

8) Set your cookie goal (remember that you can go back to the warehouse for more cookies)

7) If you can set up to receive credit cards.

6) Go door to door, even if 6 homes in a row say no, keep trying.

5) Use your voice - Ask everyone you see if they would like to buy Girl Scout Cookies.

4) After making your deliveries the first week, check with those customers again and see if they need a refill.

3) Work you Girl Scout Cookie Business with a Girl Scout friend.

2) Wear your uniform and/or a Girl Scout shirt during cookie season. People will see that and just ask you if you have cookies!

1) Most of all have fun while selling cookies!

I can't wait to see what the rest of this year brings!

-The Leader
