Friendship Advice: Silly Fights

Silly Fights

Silly fights affect us all whether it's about a change in plans, or a change in locker.

"I have a friend that kept changing plans, she stayed at her other BFF's house for a week. Just for a puppy, A puppy.  I was supposed to stay over for a sleepover but she kept staying, and staying, and staying. I never came over till' what seemed like forever, and all she talked about was the puppy. I called her in the middle of her "visit" and heard music from a radio in the background. she told I could not come over, because she was still at her friends house. After that I was so angry I wanted to cry." - R

"My friend and I shared a locker in elementary school. Then some kids moved out of our class. A girl who didn't have a locker buddy any more asked me if I wanted to move into her locker. I simply said no, let me ask K first. K was then asked by this same girl before I got to school the next morning. K moved into her locker when and, when I got to school I was so upset. Luckily for us today we laugh about it all the time." -M

Summary: All in all, people should do their best to avoid silly fights. Even though they seem small and you now probably joke about it, they can actually do damage to your friendships. Sure, it's only a little at a time, but just like not brushing your teeth every day, it all builds up and you'll need major repairs in the end.
Still, no one can always keep these little fights from happening. Although, If you do happen to get in one, just make sure that you and your friend make up and forgive each other. Because, in the end, we're all friends!
